Great accommodation with outstanding cuisine. We have almost completed the Great Ocean Walk and we stayed three nights at the Chi Medicinal Farm. I did not know what to expect but I was blown away by this place. Our room was clean, bright and modern, the bathroom stylish and the shower hot! Shane was a very welcoming and kind host. But the most amazing feature was the food! Prepared and beautifully presented by Jodie. Each meal was exquisite both in taste and presentation. We have never ever had more delicious lunch boxes on our walks and we were always looking forward to our evening meal. Thank you Jodie and Shane. We will definitely be recommending you to our friends.

The Café at Wildlife Wonders is only 5km outside Apollo Bay, but our beautiful window on the Otways bush makes it feel a world away. Enjoy a cold drink and a light meal in our courtyard, which has plenty of space for the kids to run around. Or snuggle up inside with a hot drink or soup and enjoy the beautiful bushland setting. The café is open daily (except some public holidays) for coffee & cake, and serves light meals and daily specials. We’re open to the public, so you can drop in any time.

Warm & Friendly on a wet day. We had lunch prior to a 1pm tour of the sanctuary. Friendly efficient staff, great atmosphere and warm on a cold wet day. Best cauliflower soup ever and the tomato soup was also delicious. Toasties, focaccias & menu available. Service was prompt and we did a tour at 1pm. Probably worth ringing to check tour times at this time of year.

We had dinner here and were surprised how large the restaurant is. The ordering is divided into 3 sections for ready for off food; we ordered fish. We placed our order and paid and received a message that the meals were ready in less than 15 minutes. The serves of grilled barramundi were a very good size, with good serves of chips or salad.

This was one of many dinners over the course of a 2 month trip to Australia and New Zealand and stood out for its sheer quality. The menu challenged us as there were a number of options we fancied. The food was delicious and well presented and the service was friendly and attentive. Thoroughly recommend.

Food amazing, venue average.. Let me start with the most important thing - the food was amazing. Flavoursome and generous. Entrees average around $14, mains between $33 (for a tofu salad) and $40ish for steak or lamb. We had the onion bhaji and marinated octopus for entree and the steak and lamp rump for main. For drinks - a fabulous French martini and a bourbon and Coke. Total was $154. No dessert. The staff were friendly and professional. Service was really prompt too - and meals came out fresh and hot. So why not 5 stars you ask? It was very hot and very noisy - a full house for a Saturday night. With no ventilation or visible air conditioning, it was so hot we had to leave after mains. It was also incredibly loud - all hard services in the venue so the noise was epic. To be fair we didn’t complain or ask for the (visible) corner mounted fans to be turned on. We would return for the food but might not book for 7pm which seemed the busiest time.

Awesome, food, drinks, & staff. What a lovely place to visit. The beer was a hit with the hubby and the gin paddle was definitely my favourite. We had lunch which consisted of AMAZING truffle oil fries, pizza, chicken wings and Calamari. All well presented with delicious salad and side dippings. Hats off to the friendly staff and the big fella that was very kind and gave me a refreshing gin recipe to try at home.

A nice place to sit and eat when in Apollo Bay.. Excellent coffee, with good service, tasty scones and delicious muffins. This is well worth a visit when you visit Apollo Bay.

I’d try done where else.. The place is nice and the beer wine very good. We had food which was poor. The chicken snitzal was poor, the batter soft and just not nice. My wife had noodles which were greasy and just…..unpleasant. We didn’t finish either. The place was doing lots of business but felt quantity over quality. What I didn’t understand about the area was it’s famed for scallops, try and find a scallop on a menu apart from inside a pie?!

Fabulous Italian cuisine with absolutely attentive staff. Very rarely have we seen wait staff so attentive to guests. We had pasta dishes which were just fabulous. Being senior in years we found the servings to be a little more than we could handle. Exciting yet reasonably priced wine list. Would definitely recommend to anyone and certainly would come back again. Great value for money.

Good quality food and calm ambience. I ordered the steak and it was marvellous. I asked for medium rare, it came out somewhere in between that and medium, but it was very tender. We also had a gnocchi with beef ragu and that too was delicious. Very nice place, clean, with attentive wait staff. Do make bookings as they get booked up quickly.
